All Access Playground
Bloomfield's All Access Playground on Conger Street is designed for children of all abilities with inclusive play structures. The rubberized surface makes mobility easier for wheelchairs and strollers, and wide ramps connect different sections of the equipment. There are several adaptive swings, a large climbing structure, and plenty of musical play panels.
Benches and picnic tables surround the playground, and the nearby parking lot offers accessible spaces. Restrooms are located close by in the adjacent park building. Families often bring lunch to enjoy under the shady trees that ring the play area.
The playground tends to be busiest on weekend mornings, but weekdays are usually calm if you prefer smaller crowds. It's a short drive from downtown Newark and pairs nicely with a visit to the Brookdale ShopRite plaza nearby for snacks.
